AUM Sages

Many observations of the like were recorded in Vedic times. The finding of the AUM itself is a precursor to the swelling frequencies of the sun:
A short story from my book; Existence Downloaded, Activated, Operated, Terminated, By Jayram Daya ISBN 978-1-920526-35-1 Quickfox Publishing South Africa.
Once, there lived a yogi with the divine ability to hear all sounds around him. Where there is vibration there is sound, and nature and the universe are full of vibrations. So the yogi desired a peaceful place, where no sound existed. At home, there were sounds of humans, animals, birds and insects. Some sounds of nature were in harmony, but others were irritating. He set off for quieter places in his quest to find zero sound.

The chatter of the human beings, the growling and movements of animals, water rapids, whistling winds, crackling fires, and even the busting seeds all made sounds of matchless identities. Remembering each and every sound, he went on – further and further, to higher grounds, higher planes, to find a heavenly world. Surely no sound will exist there.
He journeyed to the highest peak on earth, up the Himalayas, up to Mount Everest. All the sounds he’d heard following him; the forming, breaking, melting ice – proof that all that vibrates has sound. All flowers, plants, trees, minerals, rocks, crystals, gemstones – your body – has its own specific frequency and vibration. And within, each type of cell, organ, and system in each living organism also has its own specific vibration. Not a single entity on this is without vibration.
In frustration he sat in deep meditation, deafening all sounds that he’d heard, down to his heart beat and his own breath. When his body left his soul, he realised that the mind, the soul, and each thought and emotion, sound and colour, all had their unique vibrations. The universe stored vibrations. But unexpectedly, there seemed to be one vibration in this universe that sounded more fascinating than the rest – a particular sound that made his soul harmonious with all surrounding sounds. He followed this vibration, travelling past the sun, the stars, the Milky Way, the black holes and super nova’s, and he found the answer he so wanted to find. There was one vibration, of the same frequency, that each and everything, every being, had. After eliminating all the sounds he’d heard, in the end still one remained. His zero sound – none other than that one that’s in all. Returning from his travels, his soul found peace when repeating this vibration, AUM.
Yogis, Sages, Rishis and enlightened souls  meditating to identify the creator and its creation, thus stimulating the consciousness to transfer the knowledge of the universe to mankind.

To educate people of the sun’s importance, it was represented in religious dogmas and mantras.
Gayatri Mantra was assigned as the designated Mantra for the sun worshipers. The Gāyatrī Mantra is a highly revered mantra from the Vedas. Like all Vedic mantras, the Gayatri mantra is considered not to have an author, and like all other Vedic mantras, is believed to have been revealed to Brahmarshi Vishvamitra. It is a verse from a sukta of the Rigveda (Mandala 3.62.10).
However the ancient Hindu scriptures describe how the sage Vishwamitra was given the Gayatri mantra by the Supreme Being as a reward for his many years of deep penance and meditation.  This was to be a gift for all humanity.

AUM BHOOR BHUWAH SWAHA,

May there be peace in the mortal, immortal and divine plans.
I meditate upon the most brilliant splendour of the Sun God.
May he stimulate our intellect,
So that we are inspired to take the right action at the right time.
One of the best ways we can help our students cultivate higher awareness and link the little self to the higher self is through the use of mantra. Mantras have the power to awaken consciousness. One of the great mantras used to achieve this is often used as a greeting in India is 'AUM' or 'Hari AUM'.
Many researches indicate that visual cues help us to better retrieve and remember information. The research outcomes on visual learning make complete sense when you consider that our brain mainly an image processor (much of our sensory cortex is devoted to vision), not a word processor. In fact, the part of the brain used to process words is quite small in comparison to the part that processes visual images. It is for this reason Hinduism has many visual images for meditation and worship  to evoke divinity.

Meditation Rewires Your Brain

Meditation and other forms of relaxation and mindfulness not only change your immediate state of mind (and, correspondingly, your biochemical stress level and gene expression), they also can alter the very structure of your brain. Neuropsychologist Rick Hanson, PhD, cofounder of the San Francisco–based Wellspring Institute for Neuroscience and Contemplative Wisdom, has extensively studied the effect of meditation on the brain, with a particular focus on how neuroplasticity allows for permanent changes in your brain. Of all the mental trainings such as affirmations, psychotherapy, positive thinking, and yoga. Meditation as a subject matter has been studied the most
